They actually kicked me off the track last night for it. Im thinkin about removing the lower splash gaurd so it wont hold the water.
I contemplated taking it off too, but decided to make a hole approximately 4"x20", have to go measure to get exact, where the water drips down. Most will go straight to the floor or puddle just behind the hole and I can reach it with a towel before I run. I used 4 towels. I soak 2 and then get out as much water as possible and lay one over my supercharger and one over my intake. Then I use one bag of ice over the intake and 2 over the supercharger. About 10 minutes prior to racing I remove it all and use the dry towels to soak up what's left around the supercharger and make sure it's dry.
Any reputable track should kick you off for dripping water. It's for your own safety. Just imagine hitting some of your own water just after your launch. Kaplow!!! into the wall.
