Default Re: What do you pay for insurance?

Are you on your parent's policy? If not it might save you money to be on their policy. If you are what are the other cars in the family and who is rated on what car? Do you have good grades? Some companies offer a discount for a 3.0 or better.
Some companies also offer discounts for defensive driving programs, check with your company. That said a young driver (under 21) is going to pay dearly if they want a car like a Crossfire. Again you should shop around. I had a 19 year old buy a new Mustang a few weeks back. His dad wanted him off the family policy. Our rate was very high. He went to Progressive and got a rate at half what I could do for him.
