I don't believe the pump should be causing this. There was a thread a while back about a bad fuse block I think. It was more of the circuit board behind the fuses in the engine compartment. Some had battery problems when this was shorting out. I'll see if I can find that thread. Other than that I don't remember anyone else having electrical problems that weren't related to that or a heat seater going out.
