The decal is 3 parts.

1.) The decal (individual vinyl letters)

2.) The wax paper the "decal" is stuck to.

3.) The masking tape.

When you get the decal, the actual vinyl letters are sandwiched between the masking tape and the wax paper.

You will want to get the car all soapy and wet. Then peel the wax paper backing from the decal. You will now be holding the decal letters stuck to a piece of masking tape. Gunk this all down with soapy water, too. Slap the wet masking tape/decal in the general area you want it on the car. Line it up real nice. Make sure it's where you want it. Then take a squeegie and get the water out from under the masking tape. Once it is good and dry, remove the masking tape from the car. All that is now stuck to your car is the decal.
