I will try mine out soon, I have had it for almost 2 years lol. It will not cool quite as fast as a bag of ice since the area is smaller but it is neater and stays cold longer. I think maxcool sells them for around $35 if I remember correctly.

The case is made very well, it is definately heavy duty. I can take pics of mine if you like.

It does not come with straps but it does have handles so it would take just a few seconds and two 99 cent straps from the hardware store to strap it down. On my old car the hood would hold it in place though.
