Guy, I've been around fast cars my whole life, much longer than you. I built my first hot rod/drag car at the age of 15. I still have that car, but now it's configured for street duty. However you consider fast is up to you, but a 12, not 13, second stock car is fast. Now, go have fun driving around in your regular, old, standard Crossfire.
No offense to anyone else with the regular Crossfires. This kid is a jacka$$.
kleenex or puffs ace? If you srt is faster than your "street" chevelle after having that long Im sorry, that sucks. A guy I work with has a 67 that runs 10.5's with a small block and is bulding a 1200+ horse turbo mustang. Its going to be FAST. Yeah I'd call low 12's pretty fast, low 13's is damn quick but not quite fast. Fast cars are the ones that have the capacity to scare whoevers in the passenger seat at any given moment, can do wheelies and can spin the tires for 1/4 of a mile. Quick cars pull nicely at highway speeds. If I'm not mistaken someone on here informed me that the quickest run for a stock srt6 was 13.1. I've heard of them running 12.8's too. Go ahead and keep ragging on me for saying your car isnt fast, Ill be driving my regular old (07) standard (yeah its a 6 speed) crossfire until I get out of school (and pull the trigger?!) and get something nicer. I guess by then my mustang will be faster than your street chevelle too, but your the expert here. can we end this now? probably not, my guess is you will think of some other name to censor to try and hurt my feelings

but Im not upset, I wont hold a grudge here. Im wasnt trying to make this personal, or take shots at anyone, but people questioned my character and intelligene rather than my opinon.
back to what this thread was intented to discuss, I drive my "sports car" daily.
[edit] ok Im just trying to get the best of you, I obviously know how to annoy you so Ill just stop here. Your car isnt slow, yes for a stock car, especially with a 6 cyl. its fast, its very respectable. Im not saying my car is faster, but im also not saying im jealous of your car. I bought my car because it is the most cost effective fun car that I can really afford right now. If I had the money for an srt at the time I was looking for crossfires, I probably would have bought a mustang gt, as I only considered a crossfire when I found out how cheap they were. Im glad I got the crossfire, and i dont regret not getting an srt. your car is better than mine (although I like my 6 speed, and funky interior and exterior colors), fair enough. can we call a truce here, because ive had enough of e-flame offs on this forum.
