Default Re: first ticket today

It probably didn't help that you were a 17 year old when you got pulled over, but 60 in a 40 is a bit much for any police officer to overlook and as a previous poster wrote, once you're pulled over...

Here in CT we've lived through a rash of fatal accidents among teens, most of which involved excessive speed. In the most notable incident, the 17 year old driving was killed along with his younger sister and a third passenger in his car. He was speeding and clipped the back end of a boat trailer being towed by a truck making a turn at an intersection. Oh, and it was the second time the kid had had totaled a car; his parents bought him a more powerful Subie WRX to replace the first one he wrecked.

Getting a speeding ticket sucks, living to complain about the expired inspection ticket, priceless.
