I do not even made a stop for less than 14 over. Whether you get a ticket or a warning depends on a lot of things. How much over, any other violations, attitude, etc. All these things help me decide.

I work in a small town, so traffic is just about all I do. I am a full time CO and part time Sheriff's Deputy. I am DOC and ACT120 certified. In my state, only the State Police use RADAR, yet they do very little traffic. We use VASCAR. That's why we only cite 14 and over. There is no way you are going to fight a 14+ and win.
