Allow me to define the "phenomenon"....A standard crossfire is a decent race for a new toyota camry with a V-6....an SRT/6 is good race for a C6 corvette. On top of that if you spend 1500 bucks on pulley's/intake/tune you get a car capable of low 12 or high 11 second quarter miles with trap speeds that vary between 112-117 mph. That combo puts you into a category of mostly exotic cars which include ferrari/lambo/porsche etc.
BTW if you think you cuda was fast I would love to show you the blur my srt would give it....

My Cuda was fast for it's time. But my lowly Roadster Limited could take it easy. Damm Cuda was like any other muscle car of that era. Smoked tires in a heartbeat, car caught up a few seconds later and don't try to to do any more than hold on and not hit anything.. Sucker was all over the road.
Definitly not a "sports car."

BTW If you can't beat a camry with a standard roadster, you might want to have something checked out. Yeah it could be the car.
