Thanks. You know, once I got it done, I wished I hadn't done it because it looks so much better without the socket there that I too want that part! I imagine it could be made, but looking at the DIN-2 Alpine install that moves the switch gear down and eliminates the ash tray, air-bag light and socket, I think that's probably where I would go if I was going to go through the trouble.
