You took it to a garage to adjust the bulbs? Do you take it to a garage to replace a standard bulb? Really, this type of maintenance is very easy and not worth paying anyone to do. You don't even need a wrench if you're afraid of hand tools.

Yes, you had a smiley, but you have a valid arguement. This car should have had the option of HID lighting as do most other cars in it's original price range. As long as they look OEM, aftermarket HIDs are a nice way of giving the car the option it should always have had.
