Yes, you had a smiley, but you have a valid arguement. This car should have had the option of HID lighting as do most other cars in it's original price range. As long as they look OEM, aftermarket HIDs are a nice way of giving the car the option it should always have had.

Yes, indeed I did take it to a local garage to install everything that a friend of mine worked at because I live in an apartment complex where it is 'frowned' upon to have your car outside in the parking area with the hood raised tinkering around. Plus, I have some simple tools, but didnt have the length necessary on the sockets to reach some of the bolts necessary to get to the bulbs. That is why. Plus, I figured it was worth it, to me, $30.00 to let someone mess with it.
I do agree your pic looks OEM...just wish mine woulda turned out the way I had hoped.
