whine could be due to tires, whether its normal noise or irregular wear noise I couldn't say.

if the prior owner put KDW's on it, those are known for their excessive noise (not really a whine, but could be called that i guess)

theres also something called "singing bearings", which usually happens when you are anywhere above 50 mph and only have the gas depressed just enough to keep your speed at pace (havent heard of this on the crossfire, but other Mopar products have had their share.

and last but not least is a vacuum leak..

anyways.. welcome.. sorry to hear you have problems right off the bat, but I'm sure once they are straightened out you will love the car.
