Good Afternoon,

I have just finished my first oil change and i am a little confused. I bought the Purolator L25276. I checked the number at the store and online. The filter came with the correct gaskets so I thought everything was fine until i took the old filter out. I noticed that the old filter did not have the raised plastic ends like the purolator. the old filter has no end caps. Which one is correct? Is there right and wrong? I put it in the car and all seems fine. They have a picture of it on the purolator website. I would post it, but i don't know how people feel about posting links in this forum.
