Just a note to you and everyone running VINs. There are members on the forum who have memberships to CARFAX, not me personally, who pay good money for the subscription. There have been plenty of people on this forum who are members with one or two posts and start asking for VIN numbers. This obviously isn't your case! However if you want to request a VIN for a car I think it would be a good idea for starters to list the vehicle type and mileage just for the sake of letting everyone know out there, particularly those with CARFAX memberships. In the past people have tried to ask for VINs of different car makes and there has been mixed feelings toward this if I recall correctly.
