At least adding an AMG badge to an SRT-6 is not being the typical poseur, the heart of the car was built by AMG... in fact, it's more AMG and Mercedes than Chrysler really, only cosmetically is it a Chrysler, but it's the cosmetics (and the price) that got me to buy it.
This is my thinking exactly. AMG is a TUNING outfit that just happens to NOW be a wholly owned subsidiary of the Daimler group... nevertheless they are still a tuner of sorts and NOT a CARmaker, therefore I feel there is absolutely nothing wrong with acknowledging the AMG heritage of my car, and I don't think in any way this has to do with envy of the three pointed star... I am a BMW man at heart and frankly, can't stand Mercedes from a reliability and rust standpoint, but I recognize the great work AMG does and I don't mind letting the world know what exactly there is under my hood.
My only nit is where exactly to put it. I suppose under the right tail lamp is indeed probably the best spot.
