When you say that, do you mean that there is no way to make the shifts smoother and less clunky, and no way to put a sort of "stopper" at the end of the shift?

I like to shift a little hard, and it always worries me what would happen if i pushed the shifter into the gate too hard, because older and more experienced drivers have told me that it isn't good.
