Classic scam...
He wants you to mail or wire payment of course (i.e. the free shipping offer), no offers to pick up the car in person if you desire.
He posts an alternate email address to keep you from emailing via ebay to an email address he probably doesn't even have access to (possibly stolen account)...
If someone has access to carfax and/or autocheck, a vehicle history report would also provide accurate details as to where the car was last registered. It is supposedly in Hackettstown, NJ, be interesting to see what the Carfax says.
Even if its legit, its a northeast car you can't go and put your hands on. Bad news.
