I personally think the illuminated wind screens really take away from the class of the vehicle. They give it a cheap look. It is like advertising "hey look at my car it lights up in the back." Kind of like those light up air caps people get at walmart to put on their tires and draw attention to their hatchback civic. A windscreen should blend, and not be the focus of your car. But this is just my opinion.
Also the fact that they do not restrict wind as well as others is just one more reason I will never buy one.

I am sure some agree with you and some don't. Some people like to look different than others and stand out from the crowd and some people like to blend in. I am glad because wouldn't it be boring if everyone liked the same stuff and looked the same! Cheap looking or becomes the focus humm.. well that could be said for any change from how the car came from the factory. As far as how well they restrict wind well that also is up to each users opinion once he has tried it. JMHO
