No one would really even know there was a leak unless they pulled off the stock Intake.
Also, would there be a power loss at all due to this?
Very High resolution pictures are in my gallery
Thanks
Gator - mine did the same thing on both sides, those are just the breather assemblies on the valve cover.
When I pulled my valve covers off - the breather assemblies are just sealed with black silicone gasket sealant - not gaskets.
I purchased a tube for $20 from MB part #A 003 989 98 20 10 - seemed like a fair deal for tube that can be used in a caulking gun.
Just remove the bolts - 4 on the side you show - six on the "oil filler" side, and remove from the valve covers. Clean off the old silicone using a scotch brite or steel wool pad in the little recess' and around the bolt holes (you won't miss it cuz ya gotta clean the old crap out) and apply a liberal amount of silicone in each "cup" - more is better, re-assemble and torque to 7 lbs. You should see silicone squeeze out form the edges. Trim the excess silcone when cured.
Don't worry about the valve cover gaskets - there made of rubber and are re-usable.
