I have a 2007 with just under 7,000 miles on it. It can't be the hatch lock, could it?
I found buffeting and clicking with the windows down. I checked the closing of the hatch and found by lifting with my finger tips under the lip, if it wasn't closed tight there was about 1/8 inch play. Open the hatch and firmly close it and besure there is no play. Solved my problem.
