We'd best start some planning soon so this GTG doesn't turn into a train wreck.
As it has been mentioned Silverfox has pretty much layed out the outline for the fall Dragon meet with exception to specific drives and times for them.
SF We thank you for this as it is a start to build from.
He has also said he will help out with the "kinks in the road" as planning continues and just maybe he will come back
and take charge with that Marine spirit within him. With all that being said........
Basically as I see it the main thing that really needs to be done is to maintain the list of members attending in post #2 here.
The block of rooms are already available and waiting for us
All the info anyone could need is already posted in post #4 here.
Dining is at the lodge and generally done each night with two seatings.
Although it is helpful it is not really critical to indicate who is staying at the lodge
or who is driving in or which day they will be arriving and leaving.
Someone will be the first to arrive and someone will be the last to arrive.
Everyone is generally there by early Saturday morning.
I among a few others will be arriving Friday afternoon and leaving Monday morning.
We can hold a meeting at the lodge Friday night for those who are there
and again Saturday morning for those who drive in early that morning.
At that time we can form groups for the drive and first go to the Dam for a parking photo shoot.
We may not have a professional photographer present but most of us all have our own cameras and pretty much capture the moment.
As for Dragon driving photos they are also nice but can we live without ?
This is all about meeting, socializing ,dining and driving and I think once we are all there it will all come together with a couple of meetings.
I may be simplifying things here a bit but I think we can still have a successful event.

Consider this a vacation you need to plan without the help of a travel agent.
