I think Mo hit the nail on the head about compression limiting the amount of boost you can pump into the enigine. Our engines have 10.0:1 compression. A little too high, IMO, to really get the most out of a blower. You can make it work, with reduced boost... Just put a large pully on it to turn it slower. But you won't get the power of the SRT 6 unless you bring the compression down. The SRT 6 engine has 9.0:1 compression to maximize the effect of the supercharger. To me if you're going to do it then tear the motor down replace the pistons and rods and do it right. The Cams are more than likely different as well.
