I should check with vortech it is a little different with the centrifugal but the prices would probably be less... My vettes was about 5 K I installed it myself...

The "smaller" systems run around 4K...

Pretty good guess on the 300 horse..

so 7 pounds at 330 hmmm I would not do it with out an intercooler for sure... it depends alot on how hard you plan on running the car you would definately be wanting to monitor the spark knock under boost...

The intake on my vette at 8 pounds of boost is close to 240 degrees F with out the intercooler... I literally have no room for an intercooler and certainly don't want my car ( Vette) looking like a ricer LOL with 91 octane is a killer i'm using the stock pistons and rods... i'm sure that will change eventually...

Part of the big problem is the marketing and and product base of having Crossfires... compared to mustangs and Chevy's it drives the prices up...

The other issues is the CARB at least in California... whether it is approved or not.... Thus Like Dan was saying that it may be cheaper to go with a SRT...

i have trouble pushing the vette through smog

Great thread going here... anyone with questions let me know
