Are you sure you're not stomping on the gas pedal alot more now just to hear that sweet sound?

I know that would be my problem if I had an upgraded exhaust.

I've heard that it takes a while for a new muffler to settle (break in) which may be why the extra use of gas. Hopefully, someone who has upgraded their exhaust can attest to this.
