So here's an interesting question. I've been reading about how great the 7-speed automatic from Mercedes-Benz is, especially the one put into the new C63 AMG. How possible would it be to hook the transmission up the MB 3.2 N/A? Think it would be a good match for the engine and the car?

Or, how about dropping the 3.5 DOHC V6 and 7-speed from the current SLK into the car. Did the floorpan change much? Would it work? What do you all think?

Just thought it would be an interesting question to throw out to my fellow Crossfire faithful
