the problem is, mbz keeps tight control over who can have access to the cars computer's, so getting your crossfire driveline computer to operate the electronic valvebody of a 7 speed car, is not gonna happen and futile attemp at a conversion.

unless it's been done already on a slk320 of a similar body controled car, the trans computer may not have the outputs to actuate the valvebody solenoids in the 7spd.

If you can find an aftermarket computer to run the solenoids it can work. maybe GM sells a trans computer for racing that supports a 7spd trans?
