Depending on the thickness of the wheel flange mating surface, you might be forced to use shorter bolts.

This is actually fairly common. If you're not opposed to altering the bolts you already have, you can grind them down. Just be sure to find a nut with the same thread, run it all the way down the bolt, and then grind down the bolt. When you are done grinding the bolt, you can simply run the nut back off of it and it will help to "clean up" the threads at the end you just ground off.
