That's the biggest issue with these results. They show gains but there are so many variables changed at once that you really don't know which was responsible for what.
I will say that you will need a tune to run headers and possibly larger injectors depending on the pulley size you have.
So assume if buying headers a tune is necessary, especially on the N/A. The SC can get away with it at lower boost.
Is 45 RWHP feasible with a tune and headers? Absolutely, if the boost is there. On a bone stock car I would expect to see more of 20-25 RWHP. Everything works in harmony, 1+1= how well we tune it.
Seeing the results still leads me to believe they are a worthwhile HP investment, although not the first thing I would do.
As far as HP/$ this rates lower then ECU tune, but much higher then cams. I guess we'll have to go get a set thrown on our N/A for some more numbers to throw around.
Thanks! I was about to say that is amazing considering the others caused a loss/no change in HP. With proper ECU tune would you say more like 330hp for the green line?
I'm just gonna think out loud here, I have an N/A so these numbers are prob gonna be way different/off but I am just thinking percentage wise. This looks like a 9-10% WHP increase on modified SRT so it would be around a 5-6% WHP increase on a similar modified N/A....TVT 250 puts you around 210WHP so I'm thinking 225ish Whp on the low side?
Would you think it is a good next step after TVT250? If so would that be packageable with an updated ECU tune to account for the headers? 2100ish lol just thinking no pressure =-)... On a side note though my 04 in VA is still bone stock and ill happily put it up for some testing if needed.
