this is important. the tires made for this car are more of the sports car version and durable and longevity don't usually go with sport. i was looking for a good tire that would last and i went with the kumhos because they were a good price and had a decent treadwear indicator - 380. i looked at some yokohomos that had a 400 but they were $100 more in price. the treadwear number is not an exact science and i don't think it's monitored by any independant lab but the higher the number, the longer the tire is 'suppose' to last. on the other hand, if you are looking for a good tire to stick on corners, it will probably have a lower treadwear number (180) and will not last as long. most folks do not have a good feel for all the tires out there. they only know what they had and what they have and compare that. i had the conti's and now the kumhos. i have nothing bad to say about the kumhos but i only have the conti's to compare them to.
