I bid $220 including shipping. They bit! As for quality, It looks like the plating is thick enough, and it was definitely "hot-dipped". But does not look like the photos. I've done a lot of work with plating different materials, and the only way to get the "mirror-brite" finish is with a process called "electroless nickel". But it would never work for brake rotors, I think. It's too hard and I think it would last too long 'cause it melts at ~2600 deg F.

But at least the hub and edge look nice and I hope will stay that way.

Frankly, if I did it again, I'd spring for the extra $ and go to Brakeworld and go with the DiscItalia.
