The car looked wicked and the guy driving it looked like a douchebag. I imagine this is not unusual. Anyway, neither of us was looking to play and we were in heavy traffic but it got me wondering how my SRT would stack up. The Stage 1s have tire and exhaust upgrades. Brake upgrades are an option. My SRT is stock except for the K&N air filters. I imagine the Stage 1 tires improve handling over the stock GT and the exhaust upgrade might give him a few more ponies. I think it would be close.
Has anyone ever run against one of these?
S1 is a joke and is basically an "I'd like to LOOK/SOUND fast" package. They are just as slow; if not more slow, than a regular GT. Out here in vegas they are mid to low 14 second cars.
