We may actually need the SRT or slk32 engine cover, but you probably wont know until you mount the SC...

Actually I'm still missing the manufacturer for the SRT intercooler and plumbing... Although IHI has told me they would get it to me by next week.
Lastly the ECU data is probably going to be the most difficult as all the tuners who chip the AMG, guard their data very closely... And just because I can replicate the identical engine with the identical parts does not mean it will respond, or operate identically without f'ing-up the rest of the electronics in the car...
I'm still trying to get the info on how they reduced the compression ratio by 10%. I know why they did it, but how ? was it shorter stroke on the cam ? or different size pistons or ??? And do I even need to reduce the compression ratio to add the SC... Perhaps they decided to do it as a matter of longevity of the engine since it is a production car...
