Thank you for contacting NAVTEQ. Although Daimler-Chrysler uses our map data we neither produce nor distribute the disks for the Crossfire. For information please contact your nearest authorized Daimler-Chrysler dealer.

Yeah, thanks for nothing NavTeq. Although if they didn't produce or distribute these discs, it means that their move to DVD doesn't necessarily preclude an update to the CD version. If Chrysler parses that data, then burns it to CD, it wouldn't matter what NavTeq did.
By the same regard, it also means that we may be able to get a hold of updated data from a DVD, rip it, then burn it to multiple CDs. As long as the format matches what the Nav unit's firmware can understand, we'd be good to go.
Does anyone have a newer Chrysler nav DVD that they could post an ISO from? I'm down for a little geek research, but I'll need a DVD to see if I can break it down to intelligible CDs.
I also contacted a couple local Chrysler dealers to see if they know whats up.
As a side note, I officially no longer use my TomTom Go. I didn't think the built-in nav system would do the job, but its surprisingly good.
