Default Re: Brake Problem

Finally got my car worked on today......Turns out that the emergency brake "switch" is stuck. As I understand the switch that tells the car if the brake is on or off is stuck in the on position. The mechanic said when he fooled around with the switch the light would go off and on but that on Crossfires you cannot adjust the brake so I had to order a new switch. Took 2 1/2 hours for them to figure that out (even with the use of a diagnositc machine) and it's going to be somewhere between $130-150 just for the diagnostic today, the switch, and the labor of installing it. I also have to rent a car for a day or two because they said I have to bring my car to them Friday morning and leave it until they get time to fix it (in which I have no clue when that will be). So for now I'm stuck with the mind torturing beeping sound which is awesome.....Just thought I'd let you guys know though. Hope my troubles help someone in the future.
