Re: Manual SRT-6?
No, I am not insulting the automatics at all I haven't had the pleasure of driving an SRT yet. I don't even know of one for sale anywhere nearby. Usually, though, when you think sports cars you think manual. I was just interested to learn why they decided to go strictly automatic. If it is that amazing of a transmission then I'm definitely not saying it was a bad idea. I have never owned a supercharged car so I don't know what it's like to handle one with a manual. The closest I've done is drive my friend's supercharged SLK but it's a 4 cylinder so I'm sure it's very different. I don't know I just love the feel of authority I get by having complete control over the gears but if it's going to be that much faster with the auto then obviously why would you go manual? Didn't mean to make it seem like I was saying I am an amazing driver or that autos suck I was just curious as to the choice made for no manual option and to see what it would take to make one a stick.
