i just did mine for the first time this weekend. it wasn't difficult at all and not as messy as many other vehicles. i used a paper Purolator Pure 1 One filter (made in India). i used a rubber strap filter wrench to loosen the filter housing. total cost was approx. $50 (filter plus 8qts Mobil 1 0W-40). still need to check level to see if i should add another 1/2 qt - though FSS monitor says "ok". i used ramps to have a little easier access.
even though the rubber o-rings aren't difficult to remove, i wonder if it's actually necessary to replace them each time filter is replaced?
