The wife said it has a sqeek that comes and go. The rotors had a small lip on the outer edge. I usually do not turn the first set of pads unless of course it is really bad. If it's bad you probably have something going on. I'm just a shadetree mech so this is just my feelings. If the sqeek continues after the pads set on the rotor, I'll look deeper into it.
The reason why I asked, according to other members on the forum- our rotors are only good to about 35-50K miles....... at that point they need to be replaced.
The other reason I wondered if the pad footprint on the Rotex Gold is very similar to the stock pads,, I am considering replacing my front stock pads with the Rotex Gold- my car has about 16K miles and if I don't have to replace the rotors I don't want to.
