Default Can you use the AirCon as Source of Cold Air for Engine?

Has anyone tried using the chilled air from the air-con unit into the air filter, as source of providing the engine with cooler air?

I have given no thought to this (as might be very apparent from my question), but my initial concerns would be over the volume of the air, its pressure etc., but it would be at a low temperature.

I assume that the air-con filters the air anyway, so could you do away with the stock/K&Ns?

Since the air-con has a fan to blow the air, would it act like a turbo?
