I think you hit the nail on the head. I hadn't driven the car for a couple of days and she was a little sluggish to get started. I took it for a drive into the city today about 1.5 hours return trip and let it sit for an hour got in and the wing didn't come up.
I will check the voltage and the alternator as it might not be delivering enough charge the battery. Hmmmmm where is my multimeter... I can see a spring clean out of the shed coming up.
