I have been with State Farm since 1992. I chose SF bec of their rates and moreover better service.
A friend of mine had his new 4 runner stolen in NYC. Not once but twice within an year. A check came within a week from SF to my friend. I learned from him and went to SF.
I have shopped around with Geico and others but SF rates were always the best. I think Geico spends a ton of money on the Ads – you know, those damn gerbils and lizards.
