I get a good deal because my agent's parents were my parent's agents. My family has been with this American Family agency for 31 years and now 2 generations. Longevity bonus, maybe? The original owners of this agency gave it to their daughter when they retired. I basically get the best rate available for my age; American Family has a slightly lower rate for drivers over 55. I stick with her because of a) the pricing and b) it's nice to have a family connection in this day and age where everybody is always switching companies be it insurance, cell phone, cable vision, etc. Just lucky, I guess
