If I hold the thing parallel to the ground, it reads 1.00 g, so it must be calibrated correctly.
Does the G-tech use accelerometers to calculate speed or does it take any data from the DRB bus, such as vehicle speed? I bought a Nitrod performance meter and have seen similar #'s for g forces and 0-60 times. It does take vehicle speed from the car, but uses accelerometers to calculate HP, g force and such.
I chose it for the code reader, and MAF, O2 sensor reads and such.
I haven't done a 1/4 mile run yet, but maybe on Sunday AM when all the roads are empty?
