Default Re: Windshield Replacement Cost?

Over the years, I've had at least a dozen different windshields replaced in some of the cars that I've owned, and my comprehensive insurance always took care of 100% of the cost.
Zero deductable comprehensive insurance is usually very reasonable priced, and doesn't increase your rates if you need to use it.
Stone chips, and "stars" can be fixed by window repair shops quickly, and inexpensively. The last one I had done cost $20.00. I wouldn't chance it myself with a do-it-yourself kit, too easy for things to go wrong. IMO.
