Re: Brake Pads
My thoughts on brake pad replacment. The original pads fitted on my 2006 have excellent stopping power, which were recently tested in an emergency stop on the motorway added by the rattling ABS.
There is (in my view) minimal dust produced and if the wheel in protected with a wax seal or similar, then a regular wheeel wash will remove any accumulation of brake dust. I can understand if the vehicle is used on the track etc, but for day to day use I'm more than happy with the standard pads, and would rather spend the additional money on adding a few extra's.
The third meet is almost here, I have arranged a sunny weekend, so don't forget your shades!!
Ken.
