It sounds like an interesting thing to go to. I used to go to the big show at the Town and Country Show in Stoneleigh near Coventry and spend most of my time looking at the cars. This was a good 15 years ago now, and it would be over the August Bank Holiday.
It's still going, and they still have cars.

It appears to be a bigger thing than the Lichfield show, and appears to be more competitive. I would also hazard that you need to be a proper club if you want to do a club stand as opposed to a loose gathering of people.
