After being parked for several days the battery has drained twice. The dealer informs us that the trunk was not latched (even though it does appear latched) and the trunk light drained the battery. They also say this causes the spoiler to activate out of norm. Anyone here have any input to help me deal with this situation?
Congrats on the buy....just got mine about a week ago...both NEWBIES... I don't have that issue..but like they are telling you ...remove the bulb out of the trunk ( LOL...you may get a loaf of bread in there) ..you should not need it... try to isolate down to what circuit. If the trunk is NOT LATCHED....Slam that sucker shut !! ...don't believe that is the issue....worth a shot...hollor back ...we'll keep thinking...................
