I have Eagle F1’s on the car. I think that 1800 – 2200 is for the SRT crowd because I would get little to no tire spin at 3k. You could be right, and the track conditions could have played a part in it. To be honest, I have never done a "hole shot" on the street with my crossfire and that could yield different results.
Overall I was trying to get some tire spin off the line and take advantage of the sling shot effect. I figured with some more aggressive launching I could do this, but I experienced some wheel hop on one of the runs and that made me realize I need to drive this car back home. I'm sure in the end it would have been fine "pushing the limits" a bit more, but I really didn't want to chance it.
