Just checking back in on this thread...some of you know I sold my car several months ago.

Final chapter on my long tire bubble story above...

Not all bubbles are from hitting pot holes or pinching the tire. My damaged tire with taken off the wheel, inspected internally by a Michelin dealer, and declared to NOT be the victim of a road hazard, but was indeed a manufacturing defect.

Got a brand new tire at no charge.
