Default Re: New England Car Taxes

I do believe you have the right formula, Reno. Buying a left-over or slightly used car makes your excise tax cheaper as compared to purchasing the current model year.

I purchased my XFire in February of this year with 6000 miles on it. It's like new and already it's three years old. That's fine with me because no one knows what model years these cars are unless they have been told. All of them look alike.
